The ATTFA Full-Time Program is our U8–U12 pathway for young players who love football and are ready for more.
Across five years, players develop technical ability, game understanding and ownership of their football - while building genuine self-belief through challenge and experience.
U8 · U9 · U10 · U11 · U12

Full-Time brings the key parts of player development into one connected program.
Players train 3–4 times (90mins) each week across 40 weeks, combining technical and tactical development, game-based learning, video review, individual feedback and the ATTFA Player Logbook.
Alongside regular Sydney Premier League competition.
Training more only matters when the environment is right.
Our Full-Time model gives players more quality time on the ball, purposeful repetition, meaningful game exposure and consistent coaching.
The goal isn't simply more football. It's creating the right environment for long-term development.

Technical development sits at the heart of ATTFA.
Our four core skills - Running with the Ball, Striking the Ball, 1v1 and First Touch - are developed progressively as speed, pressure and complexity increase.
The goal is players who know not only how to execute a skill, but when and why to use it.
We want players who can increasingly solve the game for themselves.
SEE what is happening. SOLVE the problem. PLAY with purpose.
As players grow, we gradually shift responsibility from coach to player - developing footballers who can notice information, make decisions and act without always waiting for instructions.

We want ATTFA players to be Brave, Intelligent, Creative and Resilient.
These qualities are developed through real football experiences - making decisions, trying things, solving problems, making mistakes and responding to setbacks.
They help create better footballers, but their value reaches far beyond the game.
Young players develop at different rates, so we don't reduce development to one score or label.
We look at the whole player - Technical, Game Understanding, Physical Development, Character + Mindset and Love of the Game.
The goal is to recognise strengths, identify the next challenge and make the next step clear.

As players grow, we want them to take greater ownership of their football.
Through goal setting, reflection, individual feedback and the ATTFA Player Logbook, players learn to understand their own development and what comes next.
The coach guides. The family supports. Increasingly, the player owns the journey.
ATTFA Full-Time teams compete in the Sydney Premier League, providing regular exposure to challenging academy opposition.
Competition gives players the chance to apply their learning under genuine pressure - to make decisions, solve problems, experience success, make mistakes and learn to respond to what happens next.
48 Competition Matches

Our ambition is for ATTFA graduates to leave as technically capable footballers who understand the game, make decisions and back themselves.
Some may pursue football at a high level. Others will take a different path.
Either way, we want them to leave with genuine self-belief built through experience.
